Teresa A. Nortillo, MPA, CEcD
Principal and founder
Teresa A. Nortillo is principal and founder of Nortillo and Associates, Inc. Combined she has over 12 years experience as an economist and economic developer.
From 1989 through 1991 she served as an economist with the U. S. House of Representatives and the U. S. Senate. During this time she analyzed federal tax and budget legislation on issues such as state and local financial conditions and the U. S. health care system. She co-authored the 1991 Luxury Tax Impact Study which focused on job loss and retention.
From 1997 through 2003, Teresa worked for Paragon Decision Resources, Inc. as an economic development consultant. During this time, she consulted with many communities on labor market and workforce analysis, target marketing, strategic planning, commuter patterns, business retention and expansion and economic development marketing strategies.
From 2004 through 2005, Teresa worked as the first Executive Director of the Montgomery Economic Development Corporation. In this capacity, Teresa oversaw the development of several retail and industrial projects, as well as the day to day operations of the start-up organization.
In 2005, Teresa formed her own consulting company, Nortillo and Associates, Inc.
